WORK

A few examples of how I think.

Every one of these started as a problem I had, or watched someone else put up with for years. That's how I come at client work too. Work out what's actually broken first, then decide whether software is even the answer. Often it isn't.

Intelligence for radio talent, programmers, and artist teams.

The problem
Everyone in music gets the same firehose of industry news, and nobody has time to read it. The people who need to know what changed overnight are the people with the least time to find out.
What I did
Designed and built the whole product.
Why it was hard
Deciding what deserves attention is a judgment call, and everyone in the building makes it differently. The hard part was never the software. It was working out what "important" means to a programmer at 6am, and being willing to be wrong about it in front of people who would notice.

Radio programmers and music industry teams

The Liner Lab®

Launching soon · Registered trademark · Patent pending

Software for getting artist audio to radio and DSPs.

The problem
Getting short recorded audio from artists to hundreds of radio stations was run through email, spreadsheets, and file transfers, and things went missing.
What I did
Designed and built it.
Why it was hard
The people using it are busy, on a deadline, and will go back to email the second it gets annoying. Anything that needed explaining had already failed.
Built for
Radio stations and label partners

Operations for private indoor golf.

The problem
Private indoor golf has gotten very good. The software around it has not. Most of it was built for a driving range or a tee sheet and then pointed at a simulator bay.
What I did
Designed and built it.
Why it was hard
The obvious move is to add screens. But nobody books a bay to use software. Most of the work went into deciding how much of it could disappear and still hold the night together.
Built for
Private indoor golf clubs and the people who play in them
