Te Arai Links: A Look at the North Course

Te Arai Links, on New Zealand’s beautiful North Island, is one of the most amazing golf courses you’ll ever see. In August of 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to play the South Course, which was an unforgettable experience and to the day ranked as one of the most beautiful courses I’ve ever played. During this trip to New Zealand, I had the chance to play the almost 18 month old North Course, designed by world-famous golf architect Tom Doak. I couldn’t wait to see what it had to offer, and this time had to bring my camera along.

The North Course isn’t just visually stunning; it’s also a true test of skill. Tom Doak’s design combines strategic challenges with natural beauty, making the course as demanding as it is rewarding. From carefully placed bunkers and undulating greens to the ever-changing coastal winds, every hole offers a unique experience that challenges golfers to think creatively and play with precision.
